- 1 medium sweet potato (190g, peeled)
- 1 cup (150g) self-raising flour
Instructions
- Peel and core the apple; dice it into small pieces. Likewise, peel and dice the sweet potato.
- Steam the diced apple and sweet potato for 10-15 minutes until tender.
- Transfer to a mixing bowl and mash until smooth.
- Add self-raising flour to the mash and mix until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ½ cm thick.
- Cut shapes with cookie cutters or a knife; repeat until all dough is used.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake biscuits on a lined tray for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow cooling on a wire rack before serving.
