- 3 1/2 – 4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons salted butter, at room temperature
- 2 Honeycrisp apples, chopped
- 4 tablespoons salted butter, at room temperature
- 6 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2–3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a stand mixer bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and brown sugar; let sit until bubbly.
- Mix in butter, eggs, flour (3 1/2 cups), and salt until smooth. If sticky, add more flour gradually.
- Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
- Prepare the filling by mixing sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll out dough, spread with butter, sprinkle with apple mixture, roll tightly, and slice into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish; let rise again before baking at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
