- 2 medium sweet potatoes (8–9 oz each), peeled and sliced into rounds
- 3 tablespoons ghee or butter (or coconut oil for vegan)
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- Sea salt
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a 9×13 inch casserole dish, combine the sliced sweet potatoes, apples, melted ghee or butter, water, and ground cinnamon. Mix well until evenly coated.
