Description

Classic Green Bean Casserole is the ultimate comfort food that will elevate any gathering. This creamy and savory dish features tender green beans enveloped in a rich mushroom sauce, topped generously with crispy French fried onions for that delightful crunch.

  • 1 (28 oz.) can cut green beans (drained)
  • 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup milk (skim or low-fat)
  • 1 (6 oz.) can French fried onions (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Spray a 1 1/2 quart baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and two-thirds of the French fried onions until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes until bubbly.
  5. Remove from the oven, sprinkle the remaining French fried onions on top, and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot.
