Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 salmon filets (56 oz. each)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp parsley (freshly chopped)
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place skin side up in the pan; cook for 4–5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 4–5 minutes until flaked easily.
  3. Remove salmon and keep warm. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken broth; scrape the pan's bottom for flavor and simmer for 4 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low; stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until slightly thickened.
  6. Return salmon to the pan to coat in sauce; garnish with parsley and squeeze lemon juice on top.
  7. Serve immediately.
