- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1½ tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 small garlic clove, finely minced (optional)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts, then pat them dry to ensure crispiness.
- In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread them cut-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Roast in the oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
- While roasting, combine balsamic vinegar and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat; simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
- Toss the hot Brussels sprouts with the warm glaze immediately after roasting.
