- 14–15 oz canned salmon (well drained)
- 1 medium yellow onion (finely diced)
- 1/2 red bell pepper (seeded and diced)
- 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil (divided)
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
- 1/4 cup parsley (finely minced)
Instructions
- Sauté the onion and bell pepper in olive oil and butter over medium heat until golden (about 7-9 minutes). Remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flaked salmon, sautéed vegetables, Panko breadcrumbs, beaten egg, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix gently until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into patties using about one heaping tablespoon per patty.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook patties until golden brown on each side (approximately 3-4 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
