- 1 1/2 cups milk

- 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter (melted)
Instructions
- Start by cutting your stale bread into 1-inch cubes.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, pure pumpkin, eggs, white sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the bread cubes to this mixture and stir gently until all pieces are well coated.
- Pour the bread mixture into a greased baking dish evenly, pressing down slightly.
- In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, white sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and chopped pecans. Pour melted butter over this mixture and mix until crumbly.
