  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of ground cloves
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing the pumpkin mousse: In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Gently fold in 4 cups of whipped topping until fully incorporated.
  2. Assemble the base layer by slicing the pumpkin roll into 1/4-inch pieces and arranging them at the bottom of a trifle dish.
  3. Spread 2 cups of whipped topping over the pumpkin roll slices.
  4. Sprinkle 2 cups of crushed gingersnaps on top of the whipped cream layer.
