  • 1/2 cup (170g) Karo Light Corn Syrup
  • 3/4 cup (190g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup (60g) crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup (100g) quick oats
  • 2 cups (55g) crispy rice cereal
  • 3/4 cup (130g) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup (125g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp milk (regular or plant-based)
  • 12 drops green gel food coloring
  • Sprinkles of choice

Instructions

  1. Prepare a 9×9 inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine light brown sugar and Karo Light Corn Syrup, then microwave until bubbly. Stir in creamy peanut butter.
  3. Add crushed pretzels, quick oats, and crispy rice cereal; mix until fully combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press down firmly.
  5. In another bowl, melt semisweet chocolate chips and stir in additional peanut butter until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and milk to achieve a thick consistency.
  6. Spread the chocolate mixture over the base layer, adding green gel food coloring if desired.
  7. Refrigerate for about 40 minutes until firm, then cut into tree shapes.
