- 1/2 cup (170g) Karo Light Corn Syrup
- 3/4 cup (190g) creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup (60g) crushed pretzels
- 1 cup (100g) quick oats
- 2 cups (55g) crispy rice cereal
- 3/4 cup (130g) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup (125g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp milk (regular or plant-based)
- 1–2 drops green gel food coloring
- Sprinkles of choice
Instructions
- Prepare a 9×9 inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine light brown sugar and Karo Light Corn Syrup, then microwave until bubbly. Stir in creamy peanut butter.
- Add crushed pretzels, quick oats, and crispy rice cereal; mix until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press down firmly.
- In another bowl, melt semisweet chocolate chips and stir in additional peanut butter until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and milk to achieve a thick consistency.
- Spread the chocolate mixture over the base layer, adding green gel food coloring if desired.
- Refrigerate for about 40 minutes until firm, then cut into tree shapes.
